What every batch goes through
Our test lab runs on production lots, not on showpieces. These are the checks behind the certificate that ships with your consignment.
Conductor resistance
Measured against the class and size limits in IS 8130 / IEC 60228 on every production lot.
High voltage (spark & hipot) test
In-line spark testing during extrusion, plus hipot on finished cordsets and harnesses.
Insulation resistance
Checked after water immersion for the durations the relevant product standard calls for.
Tensile & elongation
Insulation and sheath compounds tested before and after thermal ageing.
Flammability
Single-wire flame testing to IEC 60332-1 for flame-retardant constructions.
Dimensional inspection
Wall thickness, eccentricity and overall diameter verified against the approved drawing.
Crimp pull-off force
Crimp height and pull-off force recorded against specification for harness terminations.
Continuity & mis-wire
100% continuity and mis-wire testing on finished harnesses and cordsets.
